Logistics work for starters: find your first logistics job

What is logistics work and is it for you?

Logistics work is about moving, storing and preparing goods. Every day thousands of warehouse workers, order pickers and drivers ensure that packages leave on time and shops stay stocked. As a starter, this sector is ideal: you rarely need a diploma, you learn the ropes on the job and you quickly grow into permanent work.

Worried it might be physically too demanding? Many starters begin as order pickers or packers, where you learn lifting and walking at your own pace. Prefer more variety? Then you can grow into a forklift driver or logistics employee in a hospital or care home. Find your logistics job and discover what suits you.
