Weekend job logistics Flanders: find your match in 3 clicks

The logistics sector runs 7 days a week, and especially on weekends there is high demand for extra hands. Warehouses, distribution centers and transport companies are constantly looking for motivated workers to process goods, pick orders or drive routes. As a weekend worker, you often work on Saturday and/or Sunday, in day shifts or early/late shifts. That makes it an ideal side income for students, flexi-jobbers or starters who have other commitments during the week.

What types of weekend jobs exist in logistics?

The variety is large. Think of:

• Order picker: You collect orders from the shelves with a scanner and make sure everything is ready for shipment.
• Warehouse worker: You help with unloading, sorting and storing goods, often with a forklift or pallet truck.
• Driver (C/CE): You drive routes on weekends, for example for supermarket supply or parcel services.
• Logistics worker in healthcare: In hospitals, residential care centers or schools you support internal logistics: distributing meals, managing linen, restocking the warehouse. This is a growing field with vacancies across Flanders.
• Packer or production worker: In food or e-commerce companies you help with packing shipments for the weekend rush.

Because weekend work is often on-call or part-time, it fits perfectly for those seeking flexibility. Moreover, hourly wages are usually attractive, with weekend allowances in many collective labor agreements.
